A public face for an educational mobile game
- Client
- Love Land
- Role
- Design and development
Love Land offers young people a safe educational world in which to learn about sexual and reproductive health, delivered as a mobile game rather than a textbook.
The problem
The game itself lives in the app stores, but Love Land needed a public-facing site to explain what it is and why it exists to an audience that will never open the app: funders, partners, and parents. I used the game’s own characters and world to introduce it, rather than describing it in the abstract, with clear sections covering what the game teaches and who it’s for, aimed at an audience deciding whether to trust or fund it, not just play it.
Result
A site the team uses as the game’s main online presence outside the app stores, doing the explaining the game itself can’t.
