I'm James, a web developer and designer originally from South Africa, now based in Ireland. I work with small businesses wherever they're based, building sites that do a specific job well and don't need constant attention afterward.

I started my career as an in-house developer, and saw firsthand how much businesses were being charged for websites that did very little for them in return. I knew I could deliver the same quality, or better, for a lot less than what agencies were charging.

That's part of why I handle both the design and the build myself. There's no account manager and no markup for work I'm not doing, just fewer handoffs and fewer things lost in translation between what you asked for and what got shipped. You talk to the person actually writing the code.
